Philip Jodidio jest uznanym na świecie autorem artykułów i książek poświęconych architekturze. Studiował historię sztuki i ekonomię na Harvardzie. W latach 1980-2002 był redaktorem naczelnym wiodącego francuskiego magazynu o sztuce "Connaissance des Arts".
